About the owners
Bryn Marie Nakamura
Bryn is a professionally trained nurse with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from University of San Francisco, CA which includes certification as a Public Health Nurse. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Willamette University, Salem, Or. Growing up in NE Oregon, she is an outdoorsy person, loves to ski with her family, appreciates the Great Mother Nature and has always been a recycler. Bryn does not consider herself an extreme environmentalist but rather a mild mannered conservationist. She tries to apply her knowledge and common sense approach to everyday healthy living in order to set an example for her kids & husband. Her mission with this company is to create an awareness and appreciation for healthier living by using safe cleaning products in the home. Her philosophy is that every little bit that we can do helps and that living green doesn't have to be an all or nothing effort.
Bolette Encina
Bolette enjoys volunteering at Rochester Animal Services and writes grants for SPOT, a non-profit that focuses exclusively on spaying and neutering domestic animals in the Monroe County area. She has a great love for the outdoors and Mother Nature, and believes we all have a responsibility to protect the earth's precious resources. She has always recycled, and is currently trying to make her own lawn as earth friendly as possible--no fertilizers or pesticides of course! Her husband has asthma and is doing great--even with the dogs in the house--due to some good cleaning techniques and clutter control, which she believes is an essential part of a clean healthy home--"you can't clean with stuff all over the place!".
Amy Mayfield
Amy graduated from Suny Brockport with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Amy and her husband Mike came to Rochester over twenty years ago for College and have lived here ever since. They love the area and think it's a wonderful place to raise a family. Amy and her family love the outdoors. She teaches her children to show respect for the planet just as they would for the people living on it. She is an avid follower of politics, loves to read, and loves the Buffalo Bills. Her experience as a Nurse and mother has made her a believer in the holistic approach to health. This also includes the environment we live in.
